West Brom head coach Roy Hodgson is hopeful midfielder James Morrison will be available for the home Barclays Premier League clash with Manchester City on Monday.

Morrison is expected to have recovered from the hamstring injury which forced him to miss the 3-2 win at Newcastle in midweek.

But doubts surround full-back Steven Reid (ankle), midfielder Youssouf Mulumbu (groin) and winger Jerome Thomas (ankle) after all three suffered knocks at St James’ Park.

Provisional squad: Foster, Fulop, Reid, Reyes, Jones, Olsson, McAuley, Dawson, Tamas, Mattock, Shorey, Scharner, Morrison, Brunt, Thorne, Mulumbu, Dorrans, Thomas, Tchoyi, Cox, Fortune, Odemwingie, Long, Bednar.
