Gueye starts for Toffees
Everton forward Magaye Gueye was given his first Barclays Premier League start since April – and only the third of his career – at home to Norwich.
The 21-year-old, who had made only 11 previous appearances in his 18-month career with the Toffees, and the fit-again Leon Osman were the only two changes from the side which lost at Arsenal last weekend.
Norwich manager Paul Lambert kept faith with the same team which beat Newcastle 4-2, with goalkeeper John Ruddy making a return to his former club.
