Jenas out for six months after operation

Aston Villa’s on-loan midfielder Jermaine Jenas has been ruled out for the remainder of the season after undergoing surgery on his Achilles.

The club have confirmed via their official website that the Tottenham player will be sidelined for six months.

Jenas suffered the setback during Saturday’s home reversal against Manchester United when he pulled up sharply.
