Lampard benched for Valencia clash

Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard was named on the bench for tonight’s vital Champions League clash with Valencia.

The 33-year-old was replaced in the Blues’ starting line-up by Raul Meireles as manager Andre Villas-Boas made one change to the side that won 3-0 at Newcastle in the Barclays Premier League on Saturday.
