Mancini: Balotelli did not deserve second yellow

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini refused to criticise Mario Balotelli after his red card in the 1-1 draw at Anfield and accused Liverpool’s players of getting the striker sent off.

The Italy international was dismissed 18 minutes after coming on as a second-half substitute for two bookable offences.
