Latics without Alcaraz

Wigan defender Antolin Alcaraz misses tomorrow’s crunch Premier League clash against fellow strugglers Blackburn through suspension.

The Paraguay international is beginning a three-match ban for spitting at Wolves’ Richard Stearman during the Latics’ loss at Molineux at fortnight ago.

Manager Roberto Martinez otherwise has a full squad to choose from with captain Gary Caldwell returning from his suspension.
