Kompany banned for QPR trip

Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany misses tomorrow’s Barclays Premier League trip to QPR as he serves a suspension for his sending off against Wolves.

Playmaker David Silva will be assessed after being substituted during the midweek Champions League win at Villarreal with a back injury.

Joleon Lescott is expected to return in place of Kompany with Stefan Savic retaining his spot. Owen Hargreaves will hope to be in contention after a minor calf injury but Carlos Tevez is likely to remain frozen out.
