Wanderers look to close out season with a win

Bray Wanderers finish off their league campaign with the visit of Dundalk to the Carlisle Grounds, kick-off 7.45pm.

Pat Devlin’s side have had a very successful season and will finish the season in sixth position ahead of tonight’s opponents who will be disappointed with their seventh place finish.

Goalkeeper Darren Quigley is ruled out for Bray as he is struggling with an elbow injury, so Brian Kane will remain in goal for Wanderers.

There are also doubts about Sean Houston (groin) and Chris Shields (ankle) and both players will undergo a fitness test ahead of the game.

Conor Early and Anthony Bolger have been added to the squad.

Bray’s first team coach Keith Long said: "We are looking forward to the game, Dundalk are a side we haven't beaten this season and we would like to finish on a high.

“Our home form has been disappointing of late and we will be trying to finish the season on a positive note.”

Dundalk welcome back Ross Gaynor to the squad after he missed the last game through suspension.

Left-back Eoghan Osborne (fractured tibia), central midfielder Stephen Maher (fractured metatarsal) and striker Mark Griffin (groin) remain out injured.

Johnny Breen is struggling with a hamstring strain and is a doubt, as is central midfielder Stephen McDonnell who is recovering from a knee injury.

Simon Madden will make his 50th appearance this year for Dundalk, having played every minute of all 49 league and cup games of the Lilywhites 2011 season.
