Samaras, Commons and Hooper missing for Celtic

Celtic manager Neil Lennon is without Georgios Samaras, Kris Commons and Gary Hooper for tomorrow night’s Europa League clash with Rennes in France.

Celtic manager Neil Lennon is without Georgios Samaras, Kris Commons and Gary Hooper for tomorrow night’s Europa League clash with Rennes in France.

Hooper picked up an ankle knock in Celtic’s 3-3 draw at Kilmarnock at the weekend, Samaras has failed to recover from a bruised bone and attacking midfielder Commons picked up a calf injury in training.

Defender Badr El-Kaddouri is cup-tied for the competition which means teenagers Callum McGregor, Paul George, Marcus Fraser, Joe Chalmers, Patrik Twardzik all travelled with some hope of seeing some action.
