Tevez due in court on driving charge
Manchester City footballer Carlos Tevez is due to go on trial over driving matters today.
The Argentinian striker is accused of failing to disclose the identity of the driver of his Bentley Continental car, which was allegedly clocked speeding at 38mph in a 30mph zone in Stretford, Manchester, on February 12.
He has pleaded not guilty to the offence.
Tevez, 27, of Prestbury, Cheshire, did not attend the last hearing at Oldham Magistrates’ Court last week, when the matter was adjourned until today.
