Drogs travel to UCD without injured duo
UCD entertain Drogheda United in this evening’s Airtricity League Premier Division clash at the UCD Bowl, kick-off 7.45pm.
College will be looking to build on their impressive performance on Monday night when they drew 2-2 with Shamrock Rovers in Tallaght Stadium.
UCD will be without Ciaran Nangle as he remains out with a shin injury.
College boss Martin Russell has a strong squad to choose from and he knows that a win would open up a four-point gap ahead of fellow strugglers Drogheda.
Russell said: “We go into the Drogheda game looking to win points that will aid our cause to secure Premier Division soccer for the club again next year.
“The players realise this is the best arena for their development and will continue to strive towards performances that see us continuing to progress."
United travel to Dublin without the injured Colm O'Brien and Jack Flynn.
Stephen Quigley returns to the squad after missing the Cup replay defeat to Dundalk through suspension.
Dave Rogers misses today’s clash in Belfield as he is suspended.
Victory for Mick Cooke’s side would see Drogheda jump above UCD in the league standings.
