Rovers face Dundalk without defender Oman

Shamrock Rover’s focus will return to the league title race when the Hoops travel to Oriel Park to take on Dundalk at 5.30pm today.

Rovers will play two games in three days as they have to play UCD in the Cup replay on Monday evening.

New signings Rohan Ricketts and Jim Paterson could be in line to make their debuts for the league champions after signing during the week.

Rovers must plan without centre-half Ken Oman who is still recovering from a knee injury.

Conor McCormack is also missing as he is struggling with a knee injury, while Dean Kelly is also out with a groin strain.

Karl Moore should return to the squad having missing the UCD Cup game on Monday as he was cup-tied

Dundalk will be looking for a win that could take them back into the top half of the table, although Eoghan Osborne remains out with a broken leg.

Stephen McDonnell is also missing as he has a knee injury, while Stephen Maher remains out with a broken foot.

Mark Griffin and Ross Gaynor are both doubts as they are struggling with injuries.
