Osborne and McDonnell missing for Dundalk

Dundalk will be looking to maintain their recent unbeaten run of form when they take on Bray Wanderers at Oriel Park tonight, kick-off 7.45pm.

Eoghan Osborne remains out for Dundalk with a fractured tibia, while Stephen McDonnell is also missing with a knee injury.

Experienced centre-half Colin Hawkins is another missing for Ian Foster’s side as he is struggling with a hamstring strain.

Nathan Murphy is a doubt for Dundalk as he is recovering from a toe injury.

Dundalk boss Ian Foster said: “We managed to beat Bray comfortably in the last game but that means nothing now as it’s all to play for.

“There are going to be a lot of ups and downs between now and the end of the season. Hopefully, more ups. But one thing that my players are is totally committed, and they’ll give it everything they’ve got in the remaining games of the season.”

Wanderers captain Gary Dempsey is a doubt as he is still recovering from a back strain, while Kieran Marty Waters is another concern as he is recovering from a groin strain.

Otherwise Bray boss Pat Devlin has a full squad to chose from.

Devlin said: "It will be a tough assignment against Dundak. They gave us a bit of a hiding the last time we met, but we have a good record in Oriel Park and we hope to keep that going.”

Bray have lost just once against Dundalk in the last six meetings between the sides, albeit a 5-1 loss at the Carlisle Grounds in their most recent clash.

Wanderers will also be aware that they collected nine points from a possible twelve against Dundalk last season, winning three of the four clashes between the sides.
