Silkmen head night of shocks in Carling Cup

Emile Sinclair scored twice as League Two minnows Macclesfield topped the bill on a night of Carling Cup upsets with a 2-0 win over npower Championship Hull at the KC Stadium tonight.

Sinclair, a 23-year-old former Nottingham Forest trainee, opened the scoring in the 17th minute and completed a famous victory for the visitors in the 59th minute when he netted his second.
