Four absences for Wanderers

Bray Wanderers and Drogheda United go head to head in tonight’s Airtricity League Premier Division clash at the Carlisle Grounds, kick-off 7.45pm.

Wanderers are without Derek Prendergast, Dave Webster, Chris Shields and Shane O'Neill due to suspension.

Stephen Brennan and Gary Shaw return from injury, while Conor Murphy is also named in the squad after returning from international duty with the Ireland Under-19 squad.

Darren Quigley remains out injured but could return in the next couple of weeks.

Bray boss Pat Devlin said: "They all had a good holiday and have returned refreshed and now we need to kick on a little bit.

"It will be a tough game against Drogheda who have had a couple of decent results recently. There are no easy games in the Premier Division. We now need to get on with it.”

United must plan without Jack Flynn and Colm O'Brien who are both out with injury, while Brian Gannon is suspended and also misses out.

Drogheda boss Mick Cooke said: “Bray have proved this season that they are a very good side and will be difficult to beat. Hopefully we can do what we did at the start of the season in the EA Cup and get a win.

“The break has been great for the players, we have been training hard and we did add a lot of new players so they have had a chance to gel and we are a more solid team now.

“The lads really needed a break. They had been working very hard in the last few weeks, our recent performances proved that, if the results didn’t.”
