Barca midfielder Afellay facing spell on sidelines

Barcelona midfielder Ibrahim Afellay is set to be sidelined for up to five weeks after suffering a hamstring tear during his side’s defeat to Manchester United.

The Holland international sustained the injury just before half-time in the 2-1 pre-season friendly defeat to United in Washington and was replaced by Isaac Cuenca.
