Draw sets up FC Copenhagen tie for Rovers

Shamrock Rovers may face stiff opposition in the form of FC Copenhagen in the third Champions League qualifying round.

Either Hoops or FC Flora were drawn against the Danish side today, with Rovers taking a 1-0 advantage into the away leg of the second round next week after beating the Estonian champions in Tallaght on Tuesday night.

Copenhagen are the only one of 10 teams in Group 1 to automatically qualify for round three.

They progressed to the last 16 in the 2010 Champions League before being knocked out by Chelsea.

The third round ties are scheduled for July 26/27 and August 2/3.
