Derry City entertain league leaders Shamrock Rovers at the Brandywell tonight, kick-off 7.35pm.
City must plan without Eddie McCallion and Gareth McGlynn as both are serving suspensions, while Barry Molloy remains out with an ankle injury and Kevin Deery is also ruled out with a calf injury.
James Henry, Ruiari Harkin, Stephen Mc Laughlin, Ryan Mc Bride and Thomas McMonagle have all been named in the match-day squad.
City manager Stephen Kenny said: “We want the players coming in to express themselves and enjoy the match against a good Rovers team.”
Jim Magilton will join Michael O’Neill in the Hoops dug-out for the first time since being appointed assistant manager on a temporary basis.
Karl Sheppard remains out for Rovers with an ankle injury, while Conor McCormack is suspended.
Hoops boss O’Neill said: “This is obviously another big game for us. We played well on Sunday, and I think you could see the team’s confidence return after the previous week’s disappointment.
“It was a good result and performance for us, and we’ll be looking to repeat that against Derry. If we do that, it will be a big statement from us, and that’s what we intend to do.”
The Candystripes have won three and drawn three of their last six games, while the Hoops secured a memorable 1-0 win at home to St Patrick’s Athletic to regain top slot in the division.
