Liverpool agree fee for Adam transfer

Liverpool’s six-month pursuit of Charlie Adam is almost over after they agreed a fee with Blackpool for the midfielder.

The club confirmed, after weeks of negotiation in the close season, they had finally met the Seasiders’ valuation of the Scotland international.
