Injury woes hit Galway United
Galway United will look to end a miserable run of results when they take on fellow strugglers UCD at Terryland Park tonight, kick-off 7.45pm.
Sean Connor’s side remain rooted to the bottom of the table with only one league win all season.
And Galway have several injury concerns with Sean Kelly (knee), Johnny Keane (knee), Joseph Yoffe (ankle) and Shane Keogh (toe) all ruled out.
Shaun Maher is also a doubt as he returns from an Achilles injury.
United boss Sean Connor said: “The two teams are on a bad run of form. It's a massive game for us, a 13-point gap if we lose. We have got to win.
“It's not been easy with what's going on at the moment, but we've got to be professional and try and get the win.”
UCD travel west without Sean Harding, who is ruled out through suspension, while Robbie Creevy is also missing with a leg injury.
College boss Martin Russell said: “We realise that Galway will be keen to rally together a spirited response to recent difficulties.
“However, our focus remains constant. We will continue to encourage our UCD side to produce good football while developing in the Premier League.”
