Danny Murphy was named skipper in the Dutchman’s first match the helm, with the likes of Brede Hangeland, Bobby Zamora and Damien Duff also included in the starting line-up.

Former Liverpool man Lauri Dalla Valle was among the substitutes and could make his debut tonight if brought on against the team from the Faroe Islands.
