Dundee United reject Rangers bid for Goodwillie

Dundee United tonight confirmed they have rejected a bid from Clydesdale Bank Premier League champions Rangers for striker David Goodwillie.

The 22-year-old has been the subject of reported interest from npower Championship side Cardiff and Rangers, who tabled the offer today.

A United spokesman said: “We can confirm we have received a bid from Rangers for David Goodwillie.

“The bid has been rejected because it does not meet our valuation.”
