Eamon Zayed put his troubles to one side as he scored a brace of goals as Derry swept Bohemians aside at the Brandywell.

The striker reported an allegation of racial abuse after Derry's 1-1 draw at Shamrock Rovers last Monday.

But it didn't affect the 27-year-old Dubliner in the least as he brought his tally for the season to 14.

Winger Gareth McGlynn fired Derry in front from James McClean's cross from the left on 29 minutes.

A minutes before the break Zayed struck to double the lead with a sublime goal, turning some 25 yards out before firing past visiting keeper Barry Murphy.

McClean again provided the delivery in from the left for Derry's third goal on 80 minutes with Zayed heading home to stretch his lead at the top of the scoring chart..
