Ba set for Toon talks

Newcastle hope to push through a move for West ham striker Demba Ba within the next 24 hours.

It is understood that the 26-year-old Senegal international was due on Tyneside today, with the Magpies hoping to get their hands on a man upon whom they set their sights several weeks ago.
