Reds return for Meireles

Midfielder Raul Meireles is set to return for Liverpool’s final match of the season at Aston Villa on Sunday.

The Portugal international missed last weekend’s defeat to Tottenham with a minor injury but has returned to full fitness.

Meireles’ return could mean striker Andy Carroll, who has played two of the last four matches because of a knee injury, drops to the bench as he is not fully match fit.
