Galway hope to jump-start season with win over Bohs
Galway United will be hoping to kick-start their season with a win over Bohemians at Terryland Park, kick-off 7.45pm.
Sean Connor’s side are struggling for form this season but have a great recent record against tonight’s opponents.
In five league matches between the teams this season and last, Galway have won four and there was one draw.
United must plan without Eduardo Duici and Steve Feeney for the visit of Bohemians.
Bobby Ryan, Mikey Gilmore and Enda Curran are all carrying knocks and are rated doubtful ahead of the game.
Bohs have been in excellent form away from home this season with four wins and two draws on their travels from six games.
Christy Fagan remains out for Bohs with a hamstring strain and midfielder Glenn Cronin has almost recovered from a cruciate injury but will not travel to Galway.
Goalkeeper Barry Murphy also remains out with a groin strain.
Gypsies boss Pat Fenlon said: “Galway have a great record against us but we’ll be confident going down.
“We haven’t played a team that has outplayed us. I was disappointed for the players after our last game against Dundalk because they put so much effort into the game not to get something from it.”
