Wanderers look to put defeats behind them
Bray Wanderers will look to put their last two results behind them as they take on UCD at the Carlisle Grounds tonight, kick-off 7.45pm.
Wanderers have lost their last two games to St Patrick’s Athletic and Sligo Rovers and will be looking for a victory to keep them in touch at the top of the table.
Bray must plan without Dave Webster who has an ankle injury and Danny O'Connor who is struggling with a thigh strain.
Long term injury victims Gary Shaw and Stephen Brennan remain out, while Chris Shields is a doubt with an ankle problem.
Bray's Director of Football Pat Devlin said: "The lads suffered from the amount of games they have been asked to play in the last fortnight.
“UCD are coming off the back of a good win. Bray versus UCD games have a history and tradition all their own and you can never tell what will happen.”
In-form UCD have won three of the last four games but must plan without Michael Leahy who has shoulder trouble, and Robbie Creevy who remains out with an ankle concern.
Cillian Morrison (Ankle), Robbie Benson (hip flexor injury) and Mark Langtry (calf) are also missing for College.
Students boss Martin Russell said: “Bray have had a great start but if we can go and play well in the Carlisle Grounds and pick up three points we will only be a point behind them.”
