Bray maintain momentum with hard-fought point
Dundalk 0 Bray Wanderers 0
Bray Wanderers maintained their terrific start to the season with a battling point at Oriel Park to frustrate Dundalk.
Former Wanderers Jason Byrne blew Dundalk's best opening before the break when shooting over the bar from skipper Simon Madden's cross.
Byrne twice fired off target as the game livened up more early in the second half.
But Bray had their moments also with John Mulroy and Conor Murphy coming close.
Bray keeper Matt Gregg then ensured his side took home a point with a late save to turn home defender Michael Hector's effort away off a post.
