UCD travel to Tallaght Stadium to take on league champions Shamrock Rovers in tonight’s Airtricity League Premier Division clash, kick-off 8.00pm.

Sean Harding returns to the UCD squad for the short trip across Dublin, however Cillian Morrison will play no part as he is struggling with an ankle injury.

College boss Martin Russell said: "We got a little boost from the Pat's result, with was a deserved point.

“Everyone wants to play in these games against Shamrock Rovers in Tallaght Stadium. We are aware that it's a tough challenge but we look forward to these challenges."

Hoops boss Michael O’Neill must plan without midfielder Stephen O’Donnell and defender Craig Sives as both are struggling with hamstring injuries.

However, Rovers will be boosted by the return of talismanic striker Gary Twigg and midfielder Chris Turner who have both recovered from injury.

Gary McCabe is suspended for the visit of UCD after receiving a straight red card in last week’s 1-1 draw with Bohemians.

Commenting on the game against UCD, Hoops boss, Michael O’Neill said: “We have had a lot of games in quick succession lately, so we’ll be looking to keep up the momentum.

“We know what kind of game to expect from UCD. They’ll come here with no pressure on them. They have a young squad who’ll be looking forward to coming to play in Tallaght against us. We’ll have to be at our best in the game.”
