St Patrick’s Athletic travel to the Brandywell to take on Derry City in tonight’s Airtricity League Premier Division tonight, kick-off 7.45pm.

Saints travel north without influential trio of Conor Kenna, Dave Mulcahy and Anto Murphy.

Captain Kenna remains a long-term injury concern, while Mulcahy has a hamstring injury, and Murphy is struggling with an ankle concern.

St Pat’s boss Pete Mahon said: “Last season we had a great start and a poor finish. We have not started well this season, but I am confident that with the squad of players we have, our results will change and we will push on.

“We are relishing the trip to The Brandywell. There is always a great atmosphere. Derry have good young players and play a good brand of football, it is going to be a difficult challenge, but one which we are prepared for.”

Candystripes boss Stephen Kenny must plan without Ruairi Harkin as he is out injured with a calf strain.

Barry Molloy remains out of contention as he is nursing an ankle ligament injury.

City boss Kenny said: “We are certainly looking forward to the game. We’ve done well over the last few weeks with the players continuing to perform with great skill and energy.”
