Giovanni Trapattoni has given midfielders Darron Gibson and Aiden McGeady license to shoot on sight as he plots the downfall of Macedonia tomorrow night.

The Republic of Ireland boss is expecting the Macedonians to get men behind the ball and invite his side to attempt to break them down with three vital Euro 2012 points at stake.
