Derry notch first points of campaign

Goals from Gareth McGlynn and Karl Lafferty earned Derry their first points of the season as they put UCD to the sword at the Bowl.

McGlynn struck for the opener on 15 minutes, shooting home after Patrick McEleney had worked the opening.

Lafferty then sealed the three points on 87 minutes when riflling a shot under keeper Ger Barron.
