Anto Flood fired Bohemians to the top of the Premier Division table with the only goal of the game before a big crowd at Dalymount.

Flood had scored Bohs' third goal in the opening night win at Bray last week and he was on hand again to finally end Drogheda's resistance with the only goal of the game on 57 minutes.

A superb ball in from the right by Mark Rossiter picked out Flood who side-footed past David Quirke.

Lee Dixon should have doubled the Gypsies' winning margin late on, but shot wide of an open goal.
