FAI President Paddy McCaul and 1992 cup-winning captain Paul Whelan this evening made the draw for the 2011 FAI Ford Senior Cup first and second rounds at FAI headquarters in Abbotstown.

FAI President Paddy McCaul and 1992 cup-winning captain Paul Whelan this evening made the draw for the 2011 FAI Ford Senior Cup first and second rounds at FAI headquarters in Abbotstown.

Five-time winners of the competition Drumcondra FC were paired with Glebe North in the first round. Bangor Celtic will meet Bluebell United in the other first round tie. The two winners of these fixtures will progress to the second round.

The 11 second round winners will progress to the third round where they will be joined by the 21 Airtricity League clubs.

Drumcondra FC v Glebe North;

Bangor Celtic v Bluebell United.

Greystones AFC v Winner Bangor Celtic/Bluebell Utd;

Everton AFC v Fanad Utd;

College Corinthians v Sherrif YC/Ballynanty Rovers/Springfield or St Peter's Athlone;

Tralee Dynamos v Loser Youghal Utdl/Sacred Heart;

Rockmount v Carrick Rovers/New Ross Celtic/Cavan Town;

Winner Youghall Utd/Sacred Heart v FC Carlow;

Avondale Utd v Athenry/Pike Rovers;

Loser Belgrove/Cherry Orchard v Midleton;

Cobh Ramblers v Winner Belgrove/Cherry Orchard;

Drumcondra/Glebe North v Douglas Hall.

Draw for the 2011 FAI Umbro Intermediate Cup semi-final:

Holders Crumlin United were paired with Avondale United of Cork. The winners of the Belgrove/Cherry Orchard quarter-final replay received a home draw against the winners of the Youghall United/Sacred Heart FC quarter-final replay.

The Final will be played in Dublin or Cork, depending on which team wins the Crumlin United/Avondale United semi-final. The Final will be played the week-ending Sunday, May 8.

FAI Umbro Intermediate Cup Semi-final draw (ties to be played week-ending Sunday, April 10):

Crumlin United v Avondale United;

Belgrove/Cherry Orchard v Youghall United/Sacred Heart.
