A quick-fire double salvo early in the second half sent St. Pat's on their way to victory as they quickly put their Setanta Sports Cup elimination behind them.

The bulk of a decent crowd of over 1500 were to go home disappointed as Anto Murphy rifled Saints in front on 47 minutes.

Two minutes later David McMillan added Saints' second after Galway failed to clear a header from his older brother Evan.

Right-back Derek Pender completed the scoring in stoppage time when his cross-cum-shot beat Greg Fleming.
