Anelka on the bench for Chelsea

Nicolas Anelka is the man to miss out today as Carlo Ancelotti recalls Didier Drogba and Salomon Kalou for Chelsea’s FA Cup fourth-round replay against Everton today.

Michael Essien has also been omitted as John Obi Mikel returns, while Paulo Ferreira starts in place of the ineligible David Luiz.

Phil Jagielka is back in the Everton XI for the first time since New Year’s Day, Jermaine Beckford has been handed a rare start, and Leon Osman is also recalled.
