Former Hertha Berlin coach Lucien Favre has been appointed as the new coach of Borussia Monchengladbach, the Bundesliga strugglers confirmed today.

Former Hertha Berlin coach Lucien Favre has been appointed as the new coach of Borussia Monchengladbach, the Bundesliga strugglers confirmed today.

He replaces Michael Frontzeck, who was sacked yesterday after two defeats left the club seven points adrift of safety at the bottom of the table.
