Makoun out of Cameroon friendly

Aston Villa newcomer Jean Makoun has been withdrawn from Cameroon’s friendly international in Macedonia tonight as an injury precaution.

Midfielder Makoun, signed from Lyon for £6m during the January transfer window, has a slight calf problem but Villa are hopeful he will be fit for the Barclays Premier League game at Blackpool on Saturday.
