Nice beat Lyon 1-0 after extra-time in the only all-Ligue 1 tie of today’s Coupe de France last-32 action.

Francois Clerc scored the only goal in the 98th minute as Nice earned a tie against amateur side Drancy.

Elsewhere, Ligue 1 sides were made to work hard as their lower-league opposition emerged with great credit.

Paris St Germain were 3-2 winners at Agen. Mathieu Bodmer’s goal was cancelled out before half-time by Daffe but two goals in the first five minutes of the second period by Peguy Luyindula and Guillaume Hoarau saw the capital side through.

Vanderschick grabbed a consolation for Agen but PSG progressed to face Martigues.

Tulio De Melo’s goal was enough to see Lille past Wasquehal and Rennes saw off Vaulx-en-Velin 2-0, although they had to wait until the second half for goals from Alexander Tettey and Yacine Brahimi.

Nantes and Reims provide the last-16 opposition for Lille and Rennes respectively.

Metz beat table-topping Sedan 1-0 in an all-Ligue 2 tie, Yeni Ngbakoto’s 44th-minute goal setting up a trip to Lorient.

In the other ties thrown up by this evening’s last-16 draw, Sochaux travel to Chambery and fellow top-flight side Nancy host Le Mans.

At least one team from outside the top tier will contest a quarter-final, with Ligue 2 Angers facing Championnat National side Strasbourg.
