Pienaar set for Spurs debut

Steven Pienaar is available to make his Tottenham debut in tomorrow’s Barclays Premier League clash at Newcastle.

Benoit Assou-Ekotto and Wilson Palacios are doubtful after they both picked up minor knee injuries in training this week and Ledley King continues to be sidelined by a groin problem.

Long-term absentees Jonathan Woodgate (groin), Jamie O’Hara (back) and Tom Huddlestone (ankle) are also unavailable.
