Jones in contention for Rovers

New signing Jermaine Jones is in contention for Blackburn’s Barclays Premier League clash with West Brom on Sunday.

Roque Santa Cruz is also poised for his first start since rejoining the club on loan from Manchester City last week.

Ryan Nelsen (knee) and back-up goalkeeper Mark Bunn (back) are slight doubts but David Dunn (leg) is fit.

Steven Nzonzi (hamstring) could also return while Keith Andrews and Vince Grella are close to fitness after lay-offs. Defender Phil Jones is now the only long-term absentee.
