Barca striker facing spell on sidelines

Barcelona’s Venezuelan forward Jeffren will be sidelined for five weeks after suffering a leg injury in training.

Jeffren suffered the injury – a ruptured muscle in his left thigh – in training today, which is his 23rd birthday.

A scan has confirmed he will be out of action for five weeks, the club announced.
