Footballers questioned over alleged sexual offence
Two Scottish Premier League footballers were questioned in connection with an alleged serious sexual offence.
It is understood that David Goodwillie and David Robertson, who both play for Dundee United, were spoken to by officers investigating a complaint made by a 24-year-old woman.
Lothian and Borders Police said two men were questioned last week in connection with the alleged incident at Armadale, West Lothian, on January 2.
Neither man was charged and inquiries are continuing.
