Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish is confident in the abilities of the players he has inherited and believes together they will take the club forward.

Despite their 1-0 FA Cup third-round exit to Manchester United at Old Trafford yesterday the Scot felt there were many positives to come from the performance.
