No action against Terry over assault claim

Chelsea and England defender John Terry will not face a criminal inquiry over claims that he injured a steward near the end of a Premier League match, police have said.

West Midlands Police confirmed that officers had decided to take no further action after viewing television footage of the incident during Chelsea’s midweek match at Wolves.
