Birmingham midfielder Lee Bowyer is facing the prospect of a possible Football Association ban over incidents during yesterday’s home Barclays Premier League clash with Arsenal.

Television replays showed Bowyer, who is 34 tomorrow, appearing to stamp on the knee of Gunners defender Bacary Sagna as he lay on the ground.
