Rafael van der Vaart will miss Tottenham’s Barclays Premier League game with Chelsea on Sunday after failing shake off a hamstring injury.

Younes Kaboul was due to train today following a hip problem and could be in the squad, while Luka Modric returns after missing Tuesday night’s Champions League draw at FC Twente with flu.
