Sir Alex Ferguson will hand Chris Smalling and Jonny Evans the job of keeping Rangers at bay in the Champions League tomorrow.

Ferguson has rested skipper Nemanja Vidic and central defensive partner Rio Ferdinand as Manchester United chase the point required to secure a place in the knockout stages.
