Trapattoni may turn to youth

Republic of Ireland boss Giovanni Trapattoni could turn to youth as he attempts to cope with an injury crisis ahead of Wednesday’s friendly clash with Norway.

The Italian has lost six of the men he initially named for the game and has doubts over defender Sean St Ledger, midfielder Paul Green and striker Kevin Doyle, who were due to have scans today.
