The Football Association of Ireland today confirmed that an investigation has begun into the collapse of a section of a perimeter wall during the Airtricity League play-off match between Bray Wanderers and Monaghan United at the Carlisle Grounds on Monday night.

The Football Association of Ireland today confirmed that an investigation has begun into the collapse of a section of a perimeter wall during the Airtricity League play-off match between Bray Wanderers and Monaghan United at the Carlisle Grounds on Monday night.

As part of this investigation, an engineer will carry out a site inspection today, following which a report will be submitted to the FAI.

The FAI will also be receiving a match delegates' report and based on the information provided, will be making appropriate recommendations to the club.
